How to Honor Yourself and Find Your Joy.
A Channel from Archangel Gabriel
Last week, I had the privilege of attending Miraval, an all-inclusive resort focused on health and wellness in the mountains of Tucson, Arizona. Miraval is located at the base of the Santa Catalina Mountains in a town named Catalina in the Oro Valley. It is one of the most beautiful properties in the desert I have ever visited.
Miraval is a place where you can go to find yourself. You can take classes on nutrition, attend cooking demonstrations, hit the spa, enjoy a guided meditation or yoga class, and then lounge by the pool. The real differentiator of Miraval is the classes and the practitioners they have onsite. Not only can you do equine therapy, do a wine tasting, but you can also see a psychic, a medium, a sound healer, and get a past life regression. No one comes back the same after spending time at Miraval; especially if you are open to finding yourself and going in, deep inside. I go for the introspection they teach and the opportunity to come back to yourself. Over the course of many days you see people having aha moments, and that moment is when they find the power within themselves. It is such a joy to see people connecting to their intuition, naming it, finding their spirit, and connecting with their higher self.
The message for me this past week was one of joy, love, and honoring yourself.
I took part in a cacao ceremony that was one of the most impactful experiences I have ever had—thank you, Jess! I followed that up with a soul drumming experience, that's right, I attended a bongo drum class. There was music, laughing, singing—and I know absolutely nothing about playing the drums. Our teacher, Richard, said something that really struck me:
“Life is too short, so find your joy.”
After attending countless classes, having conversations with so many of my different classmates, and taking time to reflect, I asked the angels to help me understand what I had learned over the past week.
Archangel Gabriel stepped forward, and below is our channel.
And once again, the message comes back to something I hear over and over:
It always comes back to the love that is inside you.
It starts there.

“One of the biggest things we want to impart upon people is the love that is in your heart. The love that rests in your heart. That many people don’t tap into and don’t really understand the vastness of it.
When you are built on a divine grid of love, you have to come to the realization that love feeds love. Love attracts love. Love fuels anything that you want to create. So, how do you manifest the life of your dreams? You love.
You first find out what you love.
What do you love to do?
What brings you joy and would fill you with love?
People are taught they need to be “something” first.
Parents say “Well you should do this…. it’s great money, it’s great benefits, it’s stable, it’s solid.” Do they ever say - “Do what you love!”
Not often. And that’s okay because they were conditioned for survival. Survival is now not necessary. We have the means and the technology to more than survive in most parts of the world.
So why don’t people track and go after love more?
Fear.
It is absolutely fear that keeps people from attracting and manifesting love and what they love to do.
If you were to start over in your life and you went after what you truly enjoyed, what you love, what would it be?
Write it down. Would you be an oceanographer? Would you be an artist? Would you have pursued a career around basketball if you loved the game and sport and couldn’t play in the NBA? Or created a business or developed something for basketball players? Or did you play it safe and go into an avenue that wasn’t filled with pure unrelenting joy?
In this next awakening on Earth people will slowly start to let go of the programming and the fears. Humans will start to understand that fear-based societies produce nothing but unhealthy outcomes. When you release the fear, you automatically start to track towards love. Because that fear is gone and you can’t not succeed. You love this!! You want this! It’s inevitable that this will happen (whatever it is) because you love it so much it will succeed.
I know what you’re thinking. There are people who made a lot of money and became very successful with companies that do mundane things. Maybe people inherited a business and it’s not that exciting. There were family pressures and obstacles and were pushed into it or thought they couldn’t do anything different. Then they sold that business and made more money than they could have imagined. Guess what those people now do- they do what they love. They are not missing that chance again.
So instead of waiting, instead of hoping, align yourself with love now.
Love brings you back to your purpose. Everyone and I mean everyone, came to Earth with a very specific purpose. Your job is to remember what that is. When you know that, know what you are here for, your life infinitely becomes that much easier. So how do you know? How do you do that?
You follow the love.
You follow what brings you joy.
You follow what lights you up.
It all starts to make sense from there. You also start to realize that there are intuitive pushes from your Creator. Yes, God does speak to you from time to time. He is all knowing. The greatest level of Consciousness in the universe. He made you. Folded you out of creation so you could experience the Earth school… So you could touch, taste, see, feel and experience this gift that is called life. And what a gift?! What a gift it is that you get to experience this world and the joy that comes with it!
When things become hard, think of the privilege you have- to even feel that and experience, both the good and the bad.
Next Steps
So how do we wrap this up and move you forward. Take stock of your life. What do you love? Make a list. People, places, things.
What are the non-negotiables to love for you? It could be time spent with nature, enjoying animals, traveling, family, working, eating, cooking and so forth.
Now categorize them. What do you love to do? What are your interests that you love?! Write them down.
What brings you unlimited amounts of joy? What brings a smile to your face? What do you do that makes you feel so good? Write it down.
If you feel depressed or sad/ when was the last time you felt good? When was the last time you felt joy? Write it down and go back to that singular moment and relive it.
What is the theme that is emerging? Is there a pull here of what you like to do? How you like to be?
What could you build around that?
What would you do and who could you be if you let go of the fear and just did what you loved?
Write that down- what would that even look like?
Take a deep breath and call in your team of light, literally out loud or in your head. Set the intention to call in your divine team of light that is constantly around you and helping you.
Ask them- “Help me find my love and my joy. Guide me back to my soul path and purpose. Guide me to what I was meant to do on this Earth- before the fear and programming took control. Bring me back to the beginning, however futile it may be, and show me what I loved! Show me the path back to it.”
Then call upon your angels and your guardian angel and have them envelop you in love.
For added benefit and protection there are specific archangels you can call upon when returning back to yourself and discovering your love and joy.
Archangel Mary, not to be confused with Jesus’ mother (archangel of love and peace and one who often works with Chamuel.)

Archangel Raphael to heal your heart, so you can find love again, love again in all things, not just romantic.

Archangel Gersisa, to enlighten you on your path. Love will lead you there, Gersisa will help illuminate the way.
Your team of Spirit Guides. They are gently nudging you to wholeness and to a loving environment. Ask them for help and guidance on your path.
Loving Yourself First and Foremost
But to the most important, you have to begin with self-love. That is truly the most important. For if you cannot love yourself; how will you share love, give love, and attract love? How will you live in it and bathe in it if you don’t have it for yourself?
You come first. God wants you to love yourself and put you above all others. Remember he is deep inside of you. He built you and crafted you from unconditional love! That is what runs through your veins, the unconditional love from our Creator.
Go in peace and joy. And I hope you start to live your life with the basis and foundation rooted in love. Spread that love throughout the world and let it erase your fears.”
