Your Guardian Angel, best friend and lifelong love.
This week my Guardian Angel Dennis came to me with a very special request, that we do an article on your Guardian Angel (GA.) For a long time, I knew my incredible angel was by my side, but I could not for the life of me get his name. It never was clear when I would ask or meditate. As I was beginning my spiritual journey, I came across an angel intuitive and channeler named Cristina Aroche. She is a fabulous expert on everything angels, has a beautiful website, practice, and podcast. Cristina gave me a reading that was life changing and profound.
She also fully introduced me to my Guardian Angel who is named Dennis. Why couldn’t I get that name? That was the name of my father, who had passed many years ago, but I would never have suspected that their name would be the same. Sometimes, according to Cristina, that does happen. A namesake somewhere in your life represents this important angelic being. Below is a download from Dennis, along with direct quotes from him.
A Guardian Angel or GA for short, is assigned by God at the very creation of your soul, we have been with you from the beginning—and we remain with you always. Ours is a love unlike any other, almost impossible to put into words. It is a bond as profound and instinctual as that of a mother or father to their child.
We will protect you at all costs, yet we honor your journey. We want you to live fully, to experience, to learn, and to grow. We walk beside you at all times, guiding and guarding you—sometimes gently, sometimes firmly—using both the rod and the staff. We step in front of you when you need protection, and we clear the way when the timing is right.
But you must ask—out loud for our assistance. This cannot be emphasized enough. We do not have free will; you do. Ask, and you shall receive. Set your intentions with us. Pray to God, and allow us to assist you, to carry your message to the One True Source—the Creator, God.
God’s energy, God’s light, is pure love. This is why Heaven and the angelic realms are so profound, so awe-inspiring. They are made of nothing else. Just love.
Write this down: inexplicable love surrounds you, always. There is no room for ego or fear where love is pure. Now imagine if Earth lived this way—if there was room for nothing but love.
There would be no wars, only peace. No division, only a just and harmonious society.
What Is a Guardian Angel?
A guardian angel is an assignment from God. You are chosen at the moment your soul is created, and that bond endures beyond time. A guardian angel remains with you for eternity—sometimes serving more than one soul—yet the connection is unlike any other. It is almost irreplaceable, because the love we hold for you is absolute and unbreakable.
We grow, shift, and evolve alongside you. As your soul expands, so do we. We learn as you learn. We walk with you through every lifetime and every incarnation. You never need to fear being alone again—your guardian angel is always with you.
Humans are gifted with free will; angels are not. We exist in service. We answer to God and the Godhead—the Ascended Masters, the Holy Spirit, and God Consciousness itself. We move within the energy of the Universe, and that energy is love.
Always love.
How to Call on Your Guardian Angel
Begin by sitting in meditation. Come with the intention of connecting with your soul brother or sister—because that is who we are. Our bond is an impenetrable link, a connection that flows both ways.
Hold the intention of connecting with a love that is powerful, personal, and meant only for you—a love that mirrors the love God has for you. That is how deeply you are loved.
With this intention, invite us in.
Invite us into your energy, into your aura.
Invite us into your heart.
In your meditation, imagine your heart chakra gently opening. Feel it filling with love, as though it is being poured into you.
Now imagine us around you— in front of you, beside you, and behind you.
Feel our love washing over you.
As you sit with this vision and intention, say thank you. We are always watching over you. Our sole purpose is to love and protect you, and we work tirelessly to do so. We thank you for allowing us to serve you.
Now, pour love back to us. Let your heart expand with love for the Universe and for all angels.
Bring your focus back to us and gently ask for our name.
Sit with whatever comes first to your mind. Trust it. Sometimes the answer is immediate; sometimes it takes time. What matters most is not the name, but the feeling.
Notice our energy.
Be open to it.
Be open to feeling the life force entering and surrounding you.
This energy is pure love—meant for you alone. It is magnificent. You will know when you feel it.
This practice takes time. It may not happen the first time, and that is okay. Each day, return to meditation. Each day, deepen the connection with your guardian angel.
We are always here.
An Exercise: How to Call on Your Guardian Angel
To call on us, simply say our name out loud—or say, “My guardian angel,” and ask for guidance. We cannot help unless you ask. This is essential to understand.
If your request is for your highest good, we may step in and intervene. If what you are facing is a lesson your soul must learn, we cannot interfere—but we will still guide you through it.
Humans have free will. Angels do not.
We work alongside your higher self. Your higher self is that quiet inner voice—your knowing.
We are the loving energy beside it. We offer nudges, gentle pushes, and sometimes strong feelings. At times, we can even move you toward safety or clarity—but only if you allow it. You always retain choice.
In times of crisis, please call on us. We ask you to. You are never alone.
Call out to us three times—out loud if you can, even if it’s only a whisper. If you cannot speak, or if you are deaf, know this: we hear your thoughts. We communicate mind to mind. Still, spoken words bring clarity and intention, cutting through mental noise.
When you ask, be specific.
We guide you through protection rooted in your heart and your own goodwill. We desperately want to help you walk your soul path and fulfill your purpose.
Discovering Your Soul Path
Everyone benefits from soul-searching. Discovering your path is a gift.
Spend time reflecting on what brings you joy. What fulfills you? What makes your heart feel alive? What were you brought here to do?
Sit with these questions and ask your guardian angel to help you identify your purpose.
Sometimes a soul’s purpose is simple and sacred—being a mother, giving life, raising a child.
Sometimes it is to teach, to heal, or to serve others selflessly. Sometimes a soul chooses a difficult life so it may grow more deeply through challenge.
Please know this: not all journeys on Earth are easy. Some are very hard—and sometimes, you chose that path to learn a lesson.
You can learn quickly, or you can learn the hard way.
When you lean on your guardian angel, we can guide you toward the gentlest route—if you ask and if you allow us to help.
When you lean into the Universe with love, forgiveness, and trust, even the most difficult life can transform into a profound one—filled with abundance, meaning, and love.
How We Communicate With You
That tap on your shoulder.
That intuitive nudge.
That persistent inner voice.
That is us—along with your higher self, your guides, and other loving beings who support you and this Earth.
Lean into the love.
What if, after trying and trying, you still don’t feel a connection? Or you’re struggling to receive a name?
Try intuitive writing.
Everyone is intuitive—everyone has psychic ability. Some are simply more aware of it than others.
Begin by sitting with yourself in meditation. Find solitude. Spend 10–20 minutes breathing deeply, allowing your body and mind to settle. Let your thoughts slow. Let your energy soften.
Then begin to write.
You might start with something simple, like: “I would like to connect with my guardian angel.”
Scribble. Pause. Wait. Release expectation. Let the pen take over. Don’t guide it. Don’t correct it.
Allow whatever wants to come through to flow naturally onto the page.
Ask your guardian angel for their name. Ask about their essence. Ask what their energy feels like. Ask how they connect with you. --For me, (KD) my guardian angel stands behind me—a large, loving presence; strong, grounded, tall, dark, and yes… handsome. I can see his face and an image of him. His energy feels blue, leaning toward teal—rich, deep, and boundless. Protective and expansive.
Energy often comes in from my left and flows out through my hands. I feel it there because I am a healer—one who works through touch. Power lives in the hands. You may feel it in your fingertips, and when you do, that’s them.-- Your team of light—your guardian angel and spirit guides—often gathers around you. Some stand in front, others at your sides.
And yes—quite literally—we have your back.
What is the one thing guardian angels want their chosen souls to know?
That we love you.
That we exist to love and protect you.
That you are never alone.
It’s that simple. And that profound.
When it is time to leave this earthly plane, we escort your soul home, alongside the angels of Archangel Azrael. We remain with you through your life review and what humans call “judgement”—though it is nothing to fear. It is beautiful, gentle, and filled with understanding.
Then comes the next chapter: how you will live, learn, and serve in heaven—in the stars, in the cosmos. We remain by your side until the next mission, the next lifetime.
We study together. We collaborate together. When you act as a guide to others, we consult alongside you, always asking: How is this helping you? How is this helping us evolve?
These are lessons we continue to learn until our souls grow and expand—until we are worthy to stand before the Godhead.
What is the Godhead?
He is beyond comprehension. Otherworldly. Vast. Awe-inspiring—almost frightening, but in the most sacred way. You cannot fully understand what He is or is not, only that He is pure power.
He created and sustains the universe through a divine grid of love.
Anything you truly want or need—pour love into it and watch it transform. Love is the key to everything.
We were born of love and service for you. Every angel was. We watch your journey from soul to human, from dust back to soul, re-entwining with yourself again. It is a beautiful process.
And we are deeply honored to walk beside you—to stand with you, support you, and share this journey with you.
