Hello from Lake Michigan!A History of Angels has just returned from a relaxing and rejuvenating time along the shores of Lake Michigan. There is something profoundly healing about being near the water—the rhythmic sound of the waves, the endless horizon, and the gentle reminder to slow down, breathe, and simply be. Water has become a central theme throughout A History of Angels. It symbolizes surrender, trust, and the natural flow of life. The ocean doesn't force its way forward; it moves with purpose, rhythm, and grace. I believe we are called to do the same. One of the greatest spiritual lessons is learning to surrender rather than striving to control every outcome. It is remembering that we are never alone—that God has surrounded us with a team of angels and heavenly helpers who are ready to guide and support us through every season of life. When we release our need to force, cling, or control, we create space for the Divine to work in ways we could never have imagined. When we release our grip and trust in the Divine, we discover something remarkable: Freedom. This week, Archangel Uriel steps forward with a message of wisdom. He reminds us that true leadership begins within, that wisdom is cultivated through faith and experience, and that love remains the greatest force for transformation.
