Jesus - the New Hipster! Jesus is having a renaissance. For a long time, many people who didn't identify with religion, considered themselves atheist, or simply felt uncomfortable with organized religion seemed to keep Jesus at a distance. But lately, I've noticed something changing. Across spiritual communities, on Substack, in podcasts, and in conversations with intuitives, more and more people are becoming curious about Jesus and His teachings. I absolutely love it. Jesus came to save sinners, to reveal God's unconditional love, and to remind humanity that no one is beyond redemption. His message was centered on love, forgiveness, compassion, and our relationship with God. Those teachings are just as powerful today as they were over 2,000 years ago. People are becoming more open to learning about who Jesus really was, what He taught, and the extraordinary miracles He performed. His life continues to inspire people from many different backgrounds, regardless of where they are on their spiritual journey. I recently listened to a webcast with renowned intuitive Sonia Choquette, where she shared that she has always admired the Gnostic understanding of Jesus. She spoke about the incredible authority with which He healed. Jesus didn't simply heal people—He called them into their healing. He would say to someone who had been unable to walk, "Get up," and they would rise and walk again. His miracles weren't only demonstrations of divine power; they were invitations for people to awaken to what is possible when faith, love, and God come together. Perhaps that's why so many people are rediscovering Him today. “Get up! Pick up your mat and walk!” John 5:8
